INVITATION TO BID
Wits Health Consortium hereby invites specialist contractors with the relevant skills, experience and resources to submit tenders for the following
DEVELOPMENT AND CONSTRUCTION OF LABORATORIES FOR WITS HEALTH CONSORTIUM (WHC) AT ISLE OF HOUGHTON OFFICE PARK. TENDER NO. WI-LB-2025-002
Specific Requirements:
Tenderers must have a contractor grading designation of 8GB or higher
The tenderer has experience in the construction, renovation, alteration or extension of laboratories and offices as a main contractor over the last five years and can provide at least three contactable references for such projects each having a value in excess of R60 million (Incl. VAT) completed in the last 3 years.
The tenderer is able to provide suitable financial statements for the preceding three (3) financial years within 12 months of the financial year end which are in accordance with legislative requirements.
The tenderer should be registered for Tax Clearance System (TCS) with the South African Revenue Services
The tenderer must submit a valid up-to-date B-BBEE certificate.
Timelines:
Tender issue – 24 February 2025 at 10h00
Compulsory Information/Clarification meeting – 28 February 2025 at 10:00 (on site at Houghton Office Park)
Closing date to register an intent to bid – 04 March 2025 at 12:00
All queries to be issued by 06 March 2025 and answers will be provided by COB 11 March 2025.
The closing date for tender electronic submission – 18 March 2025 before 23h59
