Develop A South African Resource Mobilisation Strategy for HIV, TB, and STIs
Closing date: 11 July 2025 at 16h00
The South African National AIDS Council (SANAC) was established by the
Cabinet of the South African Government (SAG) to build consensus among
government, civil society, private sector, and all other stakeholders to drive an
enhanced country response to the epidemics of HIV, TB, and Sexually
Transmitted Infections (STIs) in SA. In support of its mandate to support the
implementation of the National Strategic Plan (NSP) for HIV, TB and STIs in
South Africa, it also has the responsibility to mobilise domestic and international
resources to finance the response. SANAC has developed a steering committee to guide on the development of the National Resource Mobilisation Strategy (RMS).
To this end, SANAC is inviting applications from competent service providers to
develop a comprehensive resource mobilization strategy to support the
implementation of the NSP, working closely with the resource mobilization
steering committee. The strategy should identify sustainable funding opportunities, including domestic, international, private and philanthropic sources. It must also propose mechanisms for donor engagement, partnership development and innovative financing models to ensure adequate and sustained resources for NSP priorities.
