The Department of Public Law, within the Faculty of Law, invites applications for the following five academic positions, with appointments as soon as possible:
- Post 1: Lecturer / Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor specialising in administrative, constitutional law or public international law (2 positions).
- Post 2: Lecturer / Senior Lecturer specialising in the law of evidence, criminal law and procedure.
- Post 3: Associate Professor / Professor specialising in the law of evidence, criminal law and procedure.
- Post 4: Senior Lecturer / Associate Professor specialising in environmental law.
We wish to appoint applicants with an excellent academic record, qualities for academic leadership and who wish to be part of a faculty in which an engaged and dynamic approach to the study of the above relevant areas of law is valued. As the successful candidate, you will be expected to play a full part in teaching, research and supervision of students focussing on the relevant area of law, at both the LLB and postgraduate (PhD/LLM/MPhil) levels. You will also be expected to fulfil the administrative functions typically associated with the level at which you are appointed. A willingness to undertake socially responsive activities is also required.
