TENDER NOTICE: RFP SANAC 001022026
APPOINTMENT OF A COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATION TO IMPLEMENT THE COMMUNITY-BASED SURVEILLANCE (CBS) SYSTEMS IN EIGHTEEN (18) DISTRICTS IN SOUTH AFRICA FOR A PERIOD OF TWO (2) YEARS

The South African National AIDS Council (SANAC), established by Cabinet to coordinate South Africa’s multi-sectoral response to HIV, Tuberculosis (TB),
and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), hereby invites suitably qualified and experienced Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) to submit proposals
for the implementation of Community-Based Surveillance (CBS) systems across eighteen (18) districts nationwide. This initiative supports SANAC’s
mandate to strengthen the implementation of the National Strategic Plan (NSP) for HIV, TB, and STIs, and to enhance community-level pandemic preparedness and response.

The successful bidder will be required to implement CBS systems for the period May 2026 to December 2027, and must demonstrate (a) Proven experience in community-based surveillance systems, (b) Capacity in pandemic preparedness and response, (c) Expertise in community health training and mobilisation
