RFP SANAC 001082025 – Call for Application for the Appointment of a Community-Based Organization to Implement the Community Component of the Early Warning and Disease Surveillance Systems in 18 Districts of South Africa for Two and a half years

The South African National AIDS Council (SANAC) was established by the Cabinet of the South African Government (SAG) to build consensus among government, civil society, private sector, and all other stakeholders to drive an enhanced country response to the epidemics of HIV, TB, and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) in SA. In support of its mandate to support the implementation of the National Strategic Plan (NSP) for HIV, TB, and
STIs in South Africa, it also has the responsibility to mobilize domestic and international resources to finance the response of the epidemics.

SANAC invites eligible Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) to apply for the bid to implement community-based surveillance systems across eighteen (18) districts in South Africa for the period October 2025 to December 2027. The selected CBOs must demonstrate proven capacity in pandemic preparedness, community-based surveillance, and community training in health-related matters.
