The School invites applications for the permanent position of Lecturer in Structural Engineering.
REQUIREMENTS: A Doctoral degree in Civil Engineering (with a focus on Structural Engineering). However, consideration will be given to exceptional applicants with a Masters degree in Structural Engineering and potential to pursue a Doctoral degree in Structural Engineering. A Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
ADVANTAGE:
ECSA Professional or Candidate Engineering registration, and Evidence of teaching, research and successful higher degree supervision in Structural Engineering.
DUTIES: The successful applicant will be expected to lecture Structural Engineering undergraduate courses, as well as other Civil Engineering undergraduate courses; lecture in Structural Engineering postgraduate course(s); participate in academic administration; supervise the research of undergraduate and postgraduate students and develop a productive research programme.
