Management Assurance Specialist
REQUIREMENTS: • National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Internal Auditing / Accounting / Finance or related field • 5-10 years’ internal audit experience • Knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, and governance frameworks (advantageous) • Understanding of public sector or mining sector environment (advantageous) • Strong report-writing and analytical skills • Proficiency in MS Office • High integrity and ability to handle confidential information
DUTIES: • Execute internal audit assignments across PSJV and related Alexkor operations • Assess adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, financial controls, and compliance processes • Review financial and operational information for accuracy and reliability • Identify control weaknesses and recommend practical improvements • Prepare audit reports and present findings to the Finance Manager and management • Monitor implementation of audit recommendations • Support audit readiness for internal audits and AGSA reviews • Evaluate compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements • Assist with risk assessments and fraud prevention initiatives • Maintain proper audit working papers and documentation Candidates who fulfil to the following values can apply for the position: honesty, integrity, urgency, innovation, ownership, credibility, truthfulness, leadership and to build a result driven culture.
Preference will be given to suitable qualified candidates from the designated group in line with the Company’s Employment Equity Policy and Plan.
