The Department of Private Law, within the Faculty of Law, invites applications for an academic appointment at the level of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/Professor. The Department requires a person with expertise in the Law of Delict to commence employment as soon as possible.
The Department intends to strengthen research and teaching across several areas of its academic offerings at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The Department would welcome applications from candidates with the relevant qualifications, experience, and an interest in the Law of Delict. A candidate should demonstrate the ability or potential to be an academic leader in a Faculty and Department that values a critical and comparative approach to the study of law.
